Meet Me!

Hi! If you’re reading this you must have somehow stumbled across my blog. My name is Leia and I am from Davis, California. I have just begun my journey into the crazy world of college at Chapman University. In fact you might not know it but this blog was created for one of my first college courses I am taking. Wild, right? Although this blog is for a class and a grade my goal is to make this blog into a personal creative outlet. I am a pretty introverted girl so writing has always been an outlet that allows me to get my beliefs and thoughts out with minimum stress.

My love for travel began as a child. I practically grew up on cruise ship. My families traditions consisted of sailing around the world at least twice a year. From this I was able to be exposed to and experience new cultures and places. I am aware that I was privileged to be able to have these experiences so young and I am happy to be able to share some of my experiences through blogging.

Signing up for the writing about travel class was honestly to get one of my GE courses out of the way but I have realized in the short amount of time that I’ve spent in the class that I should take this opportunity to write and embrace it.

Getting the experience to travel has been a blessing. As I begin my journey into college and adulthood I hope that I get the opportunity to continue traveling and hope to start documenting my experience and memories more.
